"Sit tall in the saddle, Hold your head up high
Keep your eyes fixed where the trail meets the sky
And live like you ain't afraid to die
And don't be scared, just enjoy your ride"

we live in a fast paced world......

Kortlen came running out of the bathroom in a panic saying, "mooooom, Tristen just pee'd on the seat and he's not even wiping it ooooooofffffffff!!!"

Tristen yelled from the bathroom, "mom, I'll wipe it off later- I just don't have time right now!"

My little Yoda turned ONE!!!

Ross's birthday was on 11-7 but we actually celebrated it a few days early while we were in St. George with cousins. Parties are always more fun with extra kids around!
He is the sweetest boy there ever was and he is quite the little lover! Watch out if you are the select few he "LOVES" because he wants so many kisses that sometimes it makes you feel a little "uncomfortable"... (aunt Leslie is a favorite)

One of his MOST favorite things to do is spend time "swinging outside". In July when Mark and I went to Cheyenne for a week and Grandma Lori and Grandpa Malcolm came to tend the kids- Grandpa built the kids their very own swing set (out of extra fencing material we had on hand). They have absolutely LOVED it! Ross would sit in his swing all day if I let him- and sometimes I want to let him.

It is certainly ONE OF A KIND! Thank you grandpa!!!

Ross's brothers are his biggest fans and he wants to be big like them! Thank heavens they are such good examples!

We had a fun party with all the family in St. George and Ross was spoiled with all of the fun toys he got! Thank you everyone!

I promise he likes the toys everyone gave him NOW- he just didn't have time to notice them when there were fun balloons to play with!

I was so excited to let him eat his tigger and pooh cake but he just sat there and looked at it... Aunt Leslie helped him put his hand in it and then he was MAD! He looked at his hand and cried and wanted to get out of his seat....(apparently this is my fault that I never let our kids get dirty and so they don't like to be messy by the time they're one, blah, blah, blah (I wasn't really listening to what Mark was saying...))
...so I just handed him a fork and TA-DA...... he's happy again!!! (I can't help it if my kids have good table manners.)

Happy Birthday little Ross! You are the sweetest boy and my special angel- momma loves you!!!

Happy Halloween!!!

Halloween was SUPER FUN this year! We got to travel to St. George and spend a week with family. We had two Darth Vaders and a Yoda (because Ross certainly IS the good guy in the family:) They were so cute and Ross LOVED his Yoda ears the most! We got to actually go trick-or-treating in a real neighborhood and stay at the SCARIEST house on the block! (Grandpa worked REALLY hard at trying to scare the boys with all of his decorations and did a great job!)
We had a fun party with all of the cousins and all went out to gather candy together!

This is grandpa's SCAREY warewolf costume that he actually had all stuffed and displayed in the front window. When it was time to take it down he had to wear it one last time to freak out the kids (and grandma)!

Halloween was also a special day because my niece Bailey was baptized. It was so nice to be together as a family! This is my big brother's cute wife and kids...

And this is my cute little sis and girls (Bailey on her special day- we are so proud of you B!) We love you all and miss you already!
