"Sit tall in the saddle, Hold your head up high
Keep your eyes fixed where the trail meets the sky
And live like you ain't afraid to die
And don't be scared, just enjoy your ride"

Spring time in Star Valley....

Isn't it beautiful??? Well maybe for some... but I can't help with the sarcasm! The truth is that I took this picture on February 4th (the day before we left to spend a month in St. George). I was planning on taking another "spring" picture when we returned to show how much the snow had melted and etc to get us a little excited about eventually seeing our grass again. Well, I don't have to take another picture because it would look EXACTLY the same (the snow might be a little deeper now). Will I EVER see green again???

a huge WOW moment....

Yesterday my boys both needed to use the bathroom at the same time so Kort ended up in my bathroom. He was in there a quite a while..... when he came out this was our conversation:

Mommy: "hey buddy, everything okay?"

Kort: "um.., mom.., I'm REALLY sorry but I had to use ALL of your toilet paper, so I went ahead and found a new roll and put it on for you and then threw away the old one into the garbage can."

Mommy: (silence......) for real?

Kort: mmhmm- why?

Mommy: (remember that he is not only a "boy" but he is only four!) "buddy, can we teach daddy how to do that?"

A SNOW DAY TO REMEMBER :)

My mom & dad and Leslie, Bailey, Taylor & little Maddy came to visit us on New Year's Day! We were so excited to have them and we had loads of fun...

Even Turbo took a ride with me & Tristen! (brave dog because Grandpa was behind the wheel!)
I love you sista!!!
Thank you family for coming to visit and playing in our snow... And thank you grandma for staying inside with 'lil Ross and Maddy Mae- it was too cold, BRRR!

Kids are so simple!

On Saturday we took a little drive to the elk feed ground so we could check out how many elk have moved in for the winter...
It has been pretty snowy in our neck of the woods lately so we haven't seen the sun (or sky) in a while. As we were driving in the car, Tristen was watching out the window and with all of the excitement in the world said, "Dad! Look at the blue clouds!"
