"Sit tall in the saddle, Hold your head up high
Keep your eyes fixed where the trail meets the sky
And live like you ain't afraid to die
And don't be scared, just enjoy your ride"

Feeling a little homesick but taking advantage of being in the city...

We have been here for 24 days now (but who's counting?) Although we love visiting Grandma's house, we start to miss home (daddy, horses and the quiet country life)! We keep our positive attitudes by keeping busy and taking advantage of the "city opportunities" we happily live without...

Kort put this new puzzle together all by himself and has never been so proud! He told me 100 times how smart he was and that I probably wasn't even smart enough to do it when I was 4yrs old because I was a "girl"! Whatever! I guess I can quit worrying about my kids having a high self-esteem now that I realize they're like their daddy and are just born with them!
We have had a lot of fun playing in the St. George city water feature! Weird if you ask me, but what else do you do when it's 100 degrees in September?

Grandpa took us hiking on the red rocks and the boys had fun hunting for Indians!

We actually found an Indian house but they weren't home...
Good thing, because Kortlen & Tristen left their bow & arrows in Wyoming! WHEW!

Okay, so I understand more about this whole "you have to sacrifice as a parent thing" because spending an afternoon at the new STAR WARS clone trooper movie is not exactly my idea of a good time, but look how excited my little jedi's were! They even insisted on wearing their Darth Vader t-shirts! I'm not sure how many times Kort told me to "be quiet mom" during the movie if I asked him a question. (sorry, I just don't understand the whole Star Wars thing)

Your boys remind me so much of my boys. And the star wars obsession is not going away. Hayden is almost 7 and still loves it. I don't get it either! I am glad you posted a picture of you, you look awesome! If I am interpreting right, you are having another boy? What is it with the 3 boy thing? When are you leaving to go home? We do still love living in Cedar. I like the small town feel. Sometimes I miss all the conveniences. But Cedar continues to get bigger and bigger. So glad to be in touch with you. Your family is adorable. Kortlan looks just like you! Take care.

Well, I'm jealous you get to visit, enjoy it while you can and tell everyone "hi" for me! I can't believe you only have 43 days 'til your baby's due, why do everyone else's pregnancy's go by so much quicker than mine did! I'm glad you have a blog, and that the internet finally reached Wyoming ;)! It's fun to see the pictures of the kids!
